PharmaTech Connect 2026 brings together voices from across pharmacy leadership, healthtech, and policy, including Sadik Al-Hassan MP, Santosh Sahu (CEO of Charac), Henry Gregg (Chief Executive of the National Pharmacy Association), Olivier Picard (NPA Chair and community pharmacist), and Dr Jill Loader (NPA Pharmacy Contract Lead) and two speakers from NHS England. Dr Jill Loader is Pharmacy contract lead at the NPA
Santosh Sahu is the Founder and CEO of Charac, The Pharmacy App. Santosh has more than 20 years’ experience in the retail, banking and IT sectors building tech platforms and business solutions. His recent experience includes founding and leading On The Dot as CEO, a last-mile delivery platform within the CitySprint Group. Santosh founded Charac to digitise independent community pharmacies, helping them survive and thrive whilst transforming primary care within the UK.
Henry became Chief Executive of the NPA in May 2025. He was previously Director of External Affairs at Asthma + Lung UK – the lung health charity fighting for everyone’s right to breathe and the Chair of the Taskforce Lung Health. He has previously worked at the Health Foundation, lobbying government to invest in the NHS, and the National Housing Federation, campaigning for affordable housing, as well as senior roles at London Boroughs of Newham and Barking and Dagenham.
Sadik Al-Hassan MP, North Somerset, is an award winning pharmacist and former local councillor and deputy mayor. He has spent over 15 years serving communities on the NHS front line and is dedicated to rebuilding the UK’s NHS and social care system in Parliament.
Taiwo Owatemi MP, Coventry North West, is Junior Lord of the Treasury and a practicing cancer pharmacist. Since becoming an MP, she has continued to do two volunteer shifts a week in her local hospital, while championing health inequality and women’s reproductive health in Parliament.
Olivier has been a community pharmacist for almost 20 years. He trained as a pharmacist in France, but has spent most of his working life in the UK. He was an area manager in Moss Pharmacy and established his own pharmacy business in 2006, now running four pharmacies in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. He has been a member of the CPE committee and worked with PSNC on rural pharmacy matters. He has been active promoting pharmacy on national and local media.
